About Garage 42

Garage 42 was founded in 2019 to be Greater Boston’s premier car storage company. Our primary focus is on collectable car storage, alleviating the space and time constraint that limit many of our customers ability to pursue their passion. Whether you live in Boston, the suburbs, or even another state, we have the resources and know-how to take care of your vehicle. Our goal is to make the ownership of enthusiast cars easy with our in-house detailing, transportation and management services.

Our new Acton, MA location has capacity to store almost 200 cars, making us the largest car storage facility in the Boston area! As the trusted car storage providers for dozens of local collectors you can rest assured your car is in safe hands.

Here are a few frequently asked questions

Can I pick up or drop off my car outside business hours?
Yes! We require a one-hour notice before we close during normal business hours. We have an after-hours parking area that will securely hold your car until business operations resume.
Yes! We’re fully insured to store your vehicle, however each vehicle must be registered and insured with your insurance company, and our facility named as a garaging address.
Our facilities are equipped with a monitored burglar alarm and advanced camera system. Door access is controlled by a key card system allowing us to control access throughout the building.
Yes! Every single spot in our storage area has a closely located power outlet, and allocating trickle chargers is part of the on-boarding process.
Our facilities are not open to the general public, and we require visits to be scheduled in advance. On occasion, Garage 42 will take photos of customer vehicles with permission.
Our minimum storage period is 2 months, and we offer a discount for 1-year commitments.
Yes, we’ll need a confirmation from you to authorize this. Once authorized, that person will be able to pick up your car.
